KOVA people on set
KOVA — the people behind the camera. Wrocław.

An independent creative-production house. Strategy, idea and execution under one roof.

KOVA was founded in 2018 as a place where strategy, idea and execution live together — instead of passing from company to company. The first KOVA worked for brands on a retainer model, with its own facilities and a team of photographers, filmmakers and content managers.

The pandemic stopped that model and became a turning point: the company turned toward documentary film. The feature-length (Nie)zwykły Manhattan — 79 minutes, premiered in 2022 at Millennium Docs Against Gravity — showed that KOVA could carry an original film, in collaboration with partners, from development through festival and cinema to VOD.

Documentary became the foundation, and The Community of Speed — the most important project in development. KOVA 2.0 combines the comprehensive thinking of the earlier agency with documentary depth, mixed media, events and technology. Documentary stays at the centre; around it we build the brand's whole world.

The Community of Speed is an independent documentary project — it is not affiliated with or endorsed by Porsche AG.

2020

The pandemic stops the agency model. A deliberate turn: film tools for telling important stories, not just advertising.

2021—22

(Nie)zwykły Manhattan (79 min): a free pre-premiere screening on 27.11.2021 at Pasaż Grunwaldzki — right in the middle of the neighbourhood the film is about — and the world premiere at Millennium Docs Against Gravity 2022. The Niedenthal campaign (an idea from the KOVA team) reaches 11+ outlets, the woman in the photo is found. Szczęśliwa 8 is made.

2024

Multiple broadcasts of (Nie)zwykły Manhattan on TVP Kultura (January–December). Premiere of Ryzykowne Piękno — 22.03, DCF in Wrocław.

2025

Theatrical premiere of season 1 of The Community of Speed — 28.11, Kino Luna, Warsaw.

2026

KOVA 2.0 — a return to comprehensiveness with a documentary foundation. Season 2 of The Community of Speed in production: New York, Los Angeles (interview with Magnus Walker), Tokyo.

The change isn't a "return to being an agency." It's using all that experience to build contemporary projects that combine film, event, content, strategy and distribution.
